Heavy rain and snow predicted from tomorrow onwards

SRINAGAR:
The meteorological department has warned of heavy rain or snow from tomorrow onwards in the State.
A Met department spokesperson said here today that the weather will remain generally cloudy over the Jammu and Kashmir during the next 24 hours.
However, during the subsequent four days there could be fairy wide spread to wide spread rain or snow from tomorrow evening onwards.
There could be rather heavy to heavy rain or snow at a few places on March 29, April Ist and second, he warned.
He said there was possibility of light rain or thundershowers towards evening in the summer capital, Srinagar, and the maximum and minimum temperatures would be around 20 degree and 8 degree respectively.
He said at Jammu the sky would be generally cloudy and the maximum and minimum temperature would be around 30 degree and 18 degree respectively during the past 24 hours. (AGENCIES)
