JAMMU, Mar 21: Deputy Chief Minister Dr Nirmal Singh launched application forms for allotment of plots at Bankers Enclave, near Railway Station Bajalta-Surinsar Road.
Anil Modi, Chairman, Bank Officers Housing Cooperative Limited, Dinesh Gupta, Chairman, The Citizens’ Cooperative Bank Limited Jammu, Kuldeep Gupta, General Manager CC Bank, Sachin Mahajan, Cluster Head, HDFC Bank, Anuj Mahajan, Branch Manager, HDFC Bank Jammu, Kuldeep Gupta, AGM Regional Head, ICICI Bank, Ashish Pandotra, Cluster Branch Manager, ICICI Bank and Vikas Kudyar, Regional Head Sales, ICICI Bank Jammu were also present.
The forms shall be available in all branches of HDFC and ICICI Banks across the State.
Deputy Chief Minister while speaking appealed the members of the Bank Officers Housing Cooperative to carry on this process of development of such modern colonies in the State.
He endorsed efforts of the Cooperative to provide affordable housing facilities to the bank officers, gazetted officers of State as well as Central Government and sports persons having achieved meritorious awards in the field.
“This shall be the first colony of such nature which is taking care of employees and the person who have worked hard in the field of sports to achieve goals.
Dinesh Gupta, Chairman, The Citizens’ Cooperative Bank Limited while speaking assured full support from Bank to the Cooperative for development of such a modern colony in the State.
Anil Modi, Chairman of the Cooperative while speaking stated that under Bankers Enclave plots of different sizes are under allotment and the allotment shall be made strictly as per categories.
He further disclosed that an allottee can pay the cost of the plot in easy interest free installments, adding that process of first come first serve shall be adopted for allotment of plots however in case applications received are more than the number of plots, allotment shall be made by draws.
Among others present were Secretary, Bank Officers Housing Cooperative Limited, Ramnam Sharma, Directors Ram Gopal, Rajni Gupta, and all promoter members of the Cooperative including Kuldeep Gupta, Pawan Kumar, Som Singh, Om Paul, Ram Krishan, Krishan Kumar Sharma, Arun Sharma, Jagdeep Singh, Rajinder Kumar, Dinesh Gupta, Rajinder Singh Bhardwaj, Kulwant Singh, Meena Kumari and Neelam Samyal.
