MENDHAR, Feb 14: The police has booked two minor boys after they threw acid on their class mate of 10th class at Govt High School Sonia Shimla in Harni area of Mendhar today.
The incident took place in the school premises today. The 10th class students Mohd Shafiq and Zabair Ahmed managed acid from School Lab and threw it on Mohd Shabaz Khan, son of Mohd Arif of Simla village in Harni.
The boy received serious burns on right side of the face and throat and was removed to Mendhar hospital by his mother and relatives.
The SDM came to know about the matter and directed SHO Mendhar to register a case and book the accused.
The boys were absconding.
