RAJOURI, Feb 13: To promote the local languages a poetic symposium was organized by Cultural Centre of District Information Centre Rajouri today.
The function was presided over by DC Rajouri, Dipti Uppal. The poets of Dogri, Urdu and Gojri languages recited their poems in the symposium. The artists of the department, local people and prominent citizens attended the function.
ADC Saleem Malik, CEO Hamid Fani and District Information Officer Ashima Mirza also attended the programme.
In her address DC Rajouri stressed on organising such programems to promote the local talent. She stressed the Information Department to hold such programmes.
