RS PURA, Dec 12: Former Chief Secretary and Independent candidate from R S Pura, B R Kundal (MLC) has said that there was urgent need to improve the level of politics as the people and specially the young generation is losing faith in the leaders of political parties.
“Politicians have maligned politics, with the result younger generation is not keen to join politics as they consider it dirty. It is also stark fact because politicians have brought the level down”, Mr Kundal said while addressing public meetings in R S Pura segment today.
He further said that there is urgent need to have honest and dedicated leaders who can uplift the level of politics. He further said that he has not joined politics to fill his pockets but with the intention of serving people as they have suffered a lot.
On the occasion, Pardhan Dera Wadbagh Singh, Baba Swaranjeet Singh announced unconditional support to Mr Kundal. He said that Mr Kundal is an honest, sincere, worthy leader who can lead the RS Pura in all manners. He lauded Mr Kundal for his intellectual traits as an administrator.
“I share my way of work execution and on the basis of it, people can judge me and choose me to represent them in the Legislative Assembly”, he said while addressing gatherings at Kotli Mian Fateh, Mehassian and other adjoining villages of RS Pura constituency. Panchs, Sarpanchs and locals lauded Mr Kundal for his continuous efforts in overall development of the people and constituency. Mr Kundal urged upon people to check history, character, performance and way of executing task then decide whom to vote.
“Choose the right representative who can raise their issues in the Assembly and the candidate must be a deserving who can fight for the people of RS Pura”, he added.
He said there are many candidates who are contesting in the elections and he appealed people to compare all candidates then cast their valuable vote. He further said that choose the candidate wisely because the candidate they elect will write the future of constituency for the next 6 years. He appealed people not to cast their vote blindly as it will pay in future. If people choose wrong candidate then they have to suffer for next 72 months.
