AKHNOOR, Dec 2: Minister for PHE, I&FC and Congress candidate from Akhnoor constituency, Sham Lal Sharma has said that BJP sabotaged Jammu people for their struggle for their rights and justice.
Addressing a large number of youth of the area, Mr Sharma said that Kashmir centric politics has denied rightful share to the people of Jammu region and educated unemployed youth are the worst victim of it. He asserted to fight for this cause of youth from Jammu region and providing them justice.
Launching attack on BJP Government at the Centre for scuttling the issue of rehabilitation package to PoJK and Chhamb displaced persons, senior Congress leader said that BJP’s real face has been exposed. He said clubbing the issue of West Pakistani refugees with the displaced persons of PoJK, BJP Government  has made direct attempt to sabotage the issue. He alleged that actually the party does not want to address the problems of these people.
The Congress leader said that PoJK people have already suffered a lot and BJP, instead of addressing their genuine problems, is trying to spread salt on their wounds by raising unnecessary and unjustified queries. He warned the saffron party for scuttling this human issue and said that Congress party will fight this genuine demand of the distressed lot with full might. He alleged that BJP was even joining hands with the Separatists for gaining power.
Sham asked the people to support the Congress party overwhelmingly to bring it in power enabling the party to ensure complete peace and overall development of the State. He said it is only Congress party which can provide justice to all sections of the society as the party has the secular credentials that have been proved since decades. He listed the development initiatives taken during the past one decade in the Pahari belt by him and said that he will continue to develop this belt on priority.
