Nagrota, Nov 24: Bahujan Samaj Party State general secretary and candidate Nagrota Assembly Constituency Rakesh Wazir while addressing a series of public meetings at Katal Batal, Nadore, Korga etc said that Nagrota Constituency being adjoining to Katra Vaishnodevi is having lot of tourism and religious pilgrimage potential for developing it as a major pilgrimage tourism hub.
Wazir said that more than one crore yatries coming to Katra Vaishnodevi can easily be diverted to the places of religious and tourist interest around Nagrota by making small bridges or by making improvements in the present set up like making of Tahra bridge connecting Suketar Domail to Surinsar and Mansar lakes, Bamiyal bridge connecting Katra to old traditional route of Mata Vaishnodevi Ji and so to put on the pilgrimage tourism map the famous religious places like Mathwar, Showa Mata Oli temple and Deva Mai temples etc.
He said that if Shiv Khori Shrine Yatra can be increased by more than 30 times from 60 thousand per year to 20 lakhs of last year in just few years by a little efforts, the pilgrimage places around Nagrota can also be made as major pilgrimage tourism hub and this can provide employment to thousands of unemployed youth and the un-employment which is a major problem in Nagrota Assembly constituency can also be easily reduced to the minimum.
The meeting among others were addressed by Gardhari Lal, Madhu Charak, Babu Singh, Mohan Lal, Ramesh Kumar and Madan Lal.
