JAMMU, Nov 17: Contesting candidate of National Conference from Darhal Constituency, Choudhary Liaqat Ali, today visited Khoriwali area of Rajouri district, hold a public meeting and took stock of the grievances of the local populace.
A large number of people were gathered in the meeting to hear Choudhary Liaqaat Ali, who listened the problems being faced by the people.
Speaking on the occasion, the NC leader highlighted the achievements of Omar led State Government in last over six years. He urged upon the people to strengthen the hands of Omar Abdullah by heavily voting NC candidates in the upcoming State elections.
Prominent personality of the Darhal area, Peer Rashid while speaking on the occasion, expressed confidence in the leadership of Choudhary Liaqat Ali and appealed the people to make him win by whole heartedly voting in his favour in the upcoming elections.
Various local NC leaders also spoke on the occasion.
