Cong committed to peace, development: Mula Ram

JAMMU, Nov 13 : Former Minister and senior PCC leader Mula Ram  said that Congress  party is committed for strengthening the bonds of brotherhood ,unity & integrity of the State and the nation.
He was speaking in a  public meeting at Gurah Brahmna in Raipur Domana constituency. He said  that the Congress party is emerging stronger in all the three regions of the State and it is a political force to reckon with. He stressed that Congress party has to defeat the designs of communal and fundamentalist forces as secularism is the strength of the unity and integrity of the pluralistic society of India, in which people of different faiths and religion live.
He said that BJP divide people on communal and regional lines but  the people of J&K have proved time and again that they stand by secularism, peace, inter-regional harmony and equitable development of the State. He cautioned the people to be aware from these forces who are again raising their ugly head to divide the society on communal line for political gain. He appealed the people to give him an other chance to serve them, so that the development works which  have been abandoned are started again.
Highlighting the achievements of Congress party, Mula Ram said Congress party had launched many welfare schemes for the upliftment of poor and down trodden people of the Country and added that it was Congress party  which has  given important rights to the  people of the country like Right to Information, Right to Education, Right to Employment (NERGA), Right to Food Security and Right to Land.
Hari Singh Chib, secretary PCC in his address said that  Congress  candidate from Raipur-Domana Constituency  is a local candidate and can serve the people better. He said that massive development was taken place in Raipur-Domana during  the tenure of Mula Ram and appealed to the people to vote in favour of  Congress party for the peace, progress.
