JAMMU, Nov 11: To review achievements of Health Department in Jammu division, Director Health Services Dr. Baljeet Pathania today chaired meeting of the Chief Medical Officers and Medical Superintendents in a Conference Hall of Govt. Hospital Gandhi Nagar.
Dy. Director Head Quarter Dr. Gurjeet Singh, Dy. Director Schemes Dr. V.P. Sharma, Chief Medical Officers and Medical Superintendents of Jammu division and the other senior officers of the Directorate of Health Services Jammu attended the meeting.
Dr. Baljeet Pathania reviewed the institution wise work done of the physical and financial achievements under various centrally sponsored schemes for the month of October 2014.
All the Chief Medical Officers presented the monthly work done report of their respective districts. Block wise and the institution wise monthly performance of districts was also discussed. Chief Medical Officers highlighted the administrative problems faced by them.
Dr. Baljeet impressed upon all the officers to ensure the availability of drugs and medicines so that no patient will suffer without medicines and be prepared for meeting any emergency situation during electioneering.
He instructed the Chief Medical Officers that they being district heads and controlling authority should see that all the instructions passed from this office to be followed and submit the budget proposals as well as work done reports well in time for the smooth functioning of the department.
He issued necessary instructions to all the Chief Medical Officers for plugging the gaps so that patients get best medical facilities in the Govt. institutions.
