JAMMU, Oct 18: High Court today stayed selection list of teachers of Ramban district.
The stay order was issued in a petition filed by Ranjeet Singh Katoch and others seeking quashment of selection list of General Line Teachers of Ramban district on the ground that it was in total violation of the notification, which clearly States that who possesses higher qualification will be preferred for appointment as teacher.
After hearing Advocate MA Bhat appearing for the petitioner, Justice Bansi Lal Bhat issued notice to Service Selection Board and directed the respondents to file objection and till next date before the bench, appointments shall not be made on the basis of impugned selection list.
