KISHTWAR, Oct 18: Thirteen persons got injured in a group clash over land dispute in Bandarna area of the district.
As per police sources, two families had some land dispute and to solve the issue, Tehsildar Kishtwar Flail Singh along with other officers visited the spot.
As the officers were demarcating the land and recording the statements, a verbal dual took place between the family members and later, they clashed with each other.
In the clash, thirteen persons got injured and were shifted to District Hospital (DH) Kishtwar, where they are undergoing treatment, when reports last came in.
The injured have been identified as Mushtaq Ahmed, Mohammad Maqbool, Farida Begum, Taza Begum, Safina Sheikh, Noorana Banoo, Mohammad Abaas, Rukaya Banoo, Javed Iqbal, Nasir Ahmed, Rafiq Ahmed, Jamal Din and Ghulam Haider Sheikh.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Kishtwar Police Station and investigation started.
