Nitin Nabin shares BJP’s journey to becoming world’s largest political party with foreign delegates

NEW DELHI, May 26: BJP president Nitin Nabin on Tuesday interacted with mission heads and representatives of 12 countries and shared insights into the party’s growth into becoming the world’s largest political outfit.

According to a statement issued by the BJP, representatives from Brazil, Germany, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mauritius, New Zealand, Seychelles, Singapore, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam participated in the interaction.

The party said the meeting was Nabin’s first such engagement after assuming charge as the BJP president.

During the interaction, Nabin spoke about the BJP’s organisational journey and highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, saying he translated the party’s ideals into people-centric governance, inclusive development, and democratic participation.

He also explained the BJP’s ideological principles of cultural nationalism, integral humanism and ‘antyodaya’ to the delegates, the statement said.

BJP general secretary and Rajya Sabha MP Vinod Tawde, BJP OBC Morcha national president and Rajya Sabha MP K Laxman, were among those present during the interaction. (PTI)
