RAMBAN, May 24: Police here today arrested a man and recovered Charas like substance from him.
Cops from Police Post Khari during a routine Naka checking duty at Zero Point Kundan, noticed one suspicious person who attempted to flee on seeing the cops but the Police personnel apprehended him and during his search, Charas like substance was recovered from him.
The accused has been identified as Bilal Ahmed Takrey, son of Abdul Majeed Takrey, resident of Udhala Trigam, Tehsil Khari, District Ramban.
A case under relevant sections of the NDPS Act has been registered in this regard at the concerned Police Station and investigation started.
