RAJOURI, May 22: During a routine patrol, an Army jawan sustained serious injuries after a mine explosion in the operational area.
The injured soldier has been identified as Naik Sunder Singh of 4 Kumaon Unit. The explosion resulted in injuries to his foot and leg while he was carrying out patrol duties.
Following the incident, immediate medical assistance was provided at the spot. The injured jawan was subsequently evacuated through a helicopter and shifted to Northern Command Hospital, Udhampur, for advanced medical treatment and further care.
