Describing the book as an important scholarly work documenting the ancient spiritual, cultural and educational legacy of Jammu and Kashmir, the Governor said that Sharda Peeth has been one of the greatest symbols of Bharat’s civilizational glory and an eternal centre of knowledge, wisdom and Sanatan tradition.
Kavinder also appreciated the efforts of Acharya Madan for bringing forth a research-oriented publication that highlights the historical, religious and cultural importance of Sharda Peeth and its deep connection with Kashmir’s identity.
