Pushtah Law Firm hosts seminar on ‘Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam’

JAMMU, May 10 : A legal seminar on ‘The Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam (The Women’s Reservation Bill)’ organized by the Pushtah Law Firm, was held here today.
The seminar was organized to bring together members of the legal fraternity, academicians, banking professionals and distinguished members of civil society for a meaningful discourse on women’s political representation and constitutional empowerment.
The event was sought to examine the constitutional, legal and socio-political dimensions of the landmark legislation, which has been widely regarded as a transformative step towards ensuring enhanced participation of women in the democratic framework of the nation.
The programme was graced by Parveen Sharma, president of The Citizens Co-operative Bank, who attended as the chief guest.
