For the successful implementation, the Minister has stressed on proceeding of construction swiftly and ensuring the quality of work effectively so that the public can be benefitted from these roads for a long time.
Shivraj Singh Chouhan has also stressed the concerned authorities that the works should be completed in a stipulated time frame without compromising the quality.
As per official sources out of 121 proposals in the constituency 46 are in Udhampur district only which is followed by Kathua district.
In Udhampur district remote areas like Chenani, Dudo, Goldi , Kulwanta and Majalta will be covered while in Kathua district, far off areas like Bani, Barnoti, Billawar, Dhar Mahanpur, Duggan, Hira Nagar, Lohi Malhar, Nagrota Gujra, Dinga Amb, etc will be covered under the PMGSY roads.
In Doda district, Bhagwa, Assar, Dhalla, Chirala, Gandoh, Gundana, Kastigarh, Kheleni, Marmat etc will be covered.

But with this allocation by Union Ministry a long standing demand of the people of these far off places of this constituency will be solved.
Expressing his compliments to Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and Union Minister of Rural Development, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Dr Jitendra Singh said the Prime Minister has always given priority to providing connectivity in far flung, remote and hilly areas. He said earlier too special attention was paid to this constituency in allocation of funds under PMGSY roads as since Narendra Modi took over in 2014, his focus was development of remote and far-flung areas which have remained neglected for decades together.
Dr Jitendra Singh said that the construction of these roads will make ease of living for the people in the remote and hilly areas of his constituency and it will also boost the development and socio economic life of the people. He expressed the hope that the construction of all roads will be made in a stipulated time frame by the concerned agencies.
