Darakhshan asks society to be united

PULWAMA, May 2: J&K BJP general secretary (org) Ashok Koul today asked the youth to stay away from drugs and channel their energy towards education, sports, skill development, and nation-building activities.

Addressing a public gathering at Rajpora near, here on the theme of “Nasha Mukt Bharat”, he reiterated the party’s firm commitment to safeguarding the younger generation and eliminating the growing menace of drugs from society.
He said that awareness campaigns at the grassroot level are playing a vital role in educating people about the harmful consequences of substance abuse and encouraging positive social change.
Ashok Koul, said that drug abuse has emerged as a serious social challenge that threatens the future of youth and weakens the social fabric. He stressed that collective efforts from society, families, educational institutions, and Government agencies are essential to effectively combat the menace. He emphasized that the Bharatiya Janata Party is fully committed to supporting every initiative aimed at building a drug-free society and ensuring a secure future for the coming generations.
BJP leader and J&K Waqf Board Chairperson, Dr. Darakhshan Andrabi, party State secretary, Mudassir Wani, and BJP Kissan Morcha, general secretary, Arshad Bhat were also present on the occasion.
The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from local residents, youth, and party workers, who pledged to work collectively for a drug-free and socially responsible Jammu and Kashmir.
Dr. Darakhshan Andrabi highlighted the importance of social awareness and community participation in fighting drug addiction. She said that society must stand united to protect youth from falling prey to narcotics and other harmful substances.
Mudassir Wani and Arshad Bhat also emphasized the need for coordinated efforts to strengthen anti-drug awareness campaigns across Jammu and Kashmir. They appealed to the public to actively support the mission of “Nasha Mukt Bharat” and contribute towards creating a healthy and progressive society.
