SHIMLA, May 2 : Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Saturday expressed grief over the loss of four lives in a tragic accident in the Ani area of Kullu district.
According to official information, the incident occurred when a tree suddenly fell on a vehicle carrying seven persons that was on its way towards Ani.
Four people died on the spot, while the injured were rushed to a nearby medical facility for treatment.
The Chief Minister conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for the peace of the departed souls. He also wished a speedy recovery to those injured in the mishap.
Sukhu directed the district administration to extend all possible assistance to the affected families and ensure the best possible medical care for the injured.(
