Jammu Bridge Collapse: CM Omar Abdullah Orders Probe

Srinagar, May 2: Chief minister Omar Abdullah on Saturday ordered an inquiry into the bridge collapse in Jammu City that resulted in the death of three workers.
The chief minister expressed deep sorrow over the tragic loss of three workers in a bridge collapse incident at Bantalab on the outskirts of Jammu city on Friday, an official spokesperson said.
The incident occurred when workers were repairing a retaining wall near the bridge.
The spokesperson said the chief minister prayed for eternal peace for the departed souls.
Omar Abdullah also wished a speedy recovery to those injured in the incident, he said.
