*Announces Rs 25 lakh for Community Hall

JAMMU, Apr 26: Jammu East, MLA Yudhvir Sethi attended the 10th annual day celebration of Shri Chandi Mata Ji at Dhammi, Nagrota, here, today and participated in the religious proceedings with devotion and reverence.
The celebration, including Vishal Bhandara, Bhajan Kirtan and free medical camp, was organized by Sarv Shakti Chandi Mata Mandir Jammu Committee led by its president, Sanjay Gandotra and team.
Ramesh Gupta, district vice president BJP, Shiv Sharma, Bajalta Mandal president, Amita Rajput, Bajalta Mandal Mahila Morcha president were also present on the occasion.
During the event, Sethi offered prayers at the holy shrine, bowing before Mata Rani and seeking blessings for peace, prosperity, and a bright future for the people of the region.
He spent time with devotees, sharing in the spiritual atmosphere and participating in the celebrations marked by faith and community spirit.
Addressing the gathering, Sethi highlighted the importance of preserving religious traditions and strengthening community bonds through such events.
“It is a matter of great pride to be part of this sacred occasion. I pray for the well-being and prosperity of every family in this region,” he said.
In a significant announcement, the MLA sanctioned financial assistance of Rs 25 lakh for the construction of a Community Hall within the temple premises. The initiative aims to provide better facilities for devotees and support the organization of religious and social functions in the area.
“The community hall will serve as a valuable space for gatherings and activities, benefiting not only devotees but the entire locality,” Sethi stated, adding that development of religious places also contributes to social cohesion.
The event witnessed a large turnout of devotees from every nook and corner of the Jammu region, reflecting deep faith and enthusiasm, and concluded with prayers and blessings for collective well-being.
