RAMBAN, Apr 25: Under the aegis of the ongoing 100 days ‘Nasha Mukt J&K Abhiyan’, Police Station Chanderkote in coordination with Drug Inspector Ramban carried out a joint inspection drive of medical shops in Chanderkote, Peerah, Pangli and Heman areas here today.
During inspection, the office/godown of a courier service company located at Chanderkote Market was also checked for violations.
Further during checking, three medical shops-Sharma Medicates at Peerah, Medicare Pharmacy at Pangli (Karma area) and New Mi Pharmacy at Heman were found violating the norms by not maintaining records of Schedule drugs. Consequently, all the three establishments were closed on the spot as per the applicable rules and their licences were suspended by the Drug Inspector till further orders.
