Jammu , the 20th of March, 2026
WHEREAS, vide Government Order No. 571- (HME) of 2016 dated 24.10.2016, Final Seniority List of confirmed 49 Senior Consultants of various disciplines of the J&K Health and Family Welfare (Gazetted) Services was issued;
AND WHEREAS, subsequent to the issuance of the said seniority list, some Senior Consultants have retired on superannuation, and also some have been promoted/confirmed/ regularized in the department;
AND WHEREAS, on the recommendation of the J&K Public Service Commission 08 Consultants of Medicine, Ophthalmology, Pathology, Radiology, Surgery and Dentistry have been promoted/confirmed as Senior Consultants to their respective disciplines vide Government Order No. 199 HME of 2016 dated 31.03.2016 and No. 930-JK(HME) of 2023 dated 20.11.2023.
AND WHEREAS, the matter was examined in the Department, and it was found that seniority list of above said 08 Senior Consultants of various discipline have not been updated/notified/issued till date;
AND WHEREAS, this has necessitated issuance of an updated seniority list of Senior Consultants for better cadre management…………
