Kashi Vishwanath Temple Trust to begin Ganga aarti at Varanasi’s Lalita Ghat from Thursday

VARANASI (UP), Mar 18 : The Kashi Vishwanath Temple Trust will commence a daily Ganga aarti at Lalita Ghat in Varanasi from Thursday, with the ritual scheduled to be held every evening at 6 pm.

This will be the first time the temple trust is starting the Ganga aarti.

According to the temple trust, Lalita Ghat, situated along the Ganga riverfront, has been decorated elaborately for the occasion. Lighting, decor and all arrangements related to aarti are in the final stages, creating a devotional atmosphere at the site.

The trust said comprehensive arrangements have been made for the convenience of devotees, including security, sanitation, lighting and crowd management.

Special care has been taken to ensure that visitors do not face any inconvenience during the aarti and that the event is conducted in an orderly manner.

The trust administration has appealed to devotees to maintain discipline during the ceremony and follow official guidelines.

It also urged people to remain vigilant about cleanliness and safety to ensure the smooth and peaceful conduct of the sacred event. (PTI)
