BUDHAL, Mar 6: A large number of people gathered on the road in Budhal on Friday after Friday prayers to protest against the actions of the United States and Israel against Iran.
The protesters raised slogans and expressed deep concern over the ongoing situation and the suffering of innocent people. A local PDP leader Farooq Inqlabi said that people in large number came out peacefully to express their solidarity with the oppressed and to send a strong message that humanity must prevail over injustice. He stated that voices from every corner of the world are rising against oppression and violence.
Speaking on the occasion, Hafiz Asif Iqbal delivered a strong message to the United States and Israel, saying that the oppression and bloodshed of innocent people cannot silence the voice of truth. He said the world is witnessing the suffering of innocent civilians and urged global powers to stop supporting injustice and work towards peace and humanity.
National Conference leader Mohd Arfi also addressed the gathering and said that the international community must take serious notice of the situation and play a constructive role in ensuring justice and protection of innocent lives.
Inqlabi urged the international community and world powers to act responsibly to ensure peace and justice. He said such peaceful demonstrations reflect the emotions and humanitarian concerns of the people.
