MENDHAR, Feb 28: Police today seized 14 grams of heroin near Degree College in Mendhar area and arrested two persons in this connection.
Official sources said that a police team laid a naka near Degree College Mendhar as part of routine drive. During the checking, two suspects were intercepted by the team led by PSI Dhaneshwari and PSI Sourab Sharma.
On search, 14 grams of heroin was recovered from their possession. Both the accused were taken into custody on the spot.
A case under relevant sections of the NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Mendhar and investigation has been taken up.
