Awareness Summit to strengthen surveillance & public safety ecosystem organised

JAMMU, Feb 24: To aware the people about emerging CCTV and security surveillance technologies, operational challenges and the importance of awareness-led security deployments, an awareness Summit “Beyond Security” was organized here today.
The summit served as a collaborative platform for government end users and domain experts to exchange insights on technology adoption, compliance and real-world implementation of surveillance systems for enhanced public safety and operational efficiency.

The event was graced by eminent guest speakers including Vikas Anand from Transport Department, Ramnish Gupta SSP CICE, Lt Col Harpreet Singh, Suresh Sharma From BSF, Satish Sharma SSP Telecom JKP, Dr Yashwant, Registrar Central University, Aijaz Qeiser Joint Director Tourism, Munishwar Sudan Sr. Manager CPPLus Jammu Kashmir and Leh and Anil Sharma Sr. Director NIC, who shared valuable perspectives drawn from governance, law enforcement, defence and telecom domains.
The summit also witnessed the participation of senior officials and dignitaries from National Informatics Centre (NIC), Smart City Mission, IITs and various local industry associations, making the discussions comprehensive and outcome-driven.
The sessions emphasized the role of advanced, compliant, and scalable surveillance technologies in supporting government initiatives, improving situational awareness and strengthening the nation’s security infrastructure.
