RAJOURI, Feb 21: Lt Gen Pratik Sharma, Army Commander Northern Command, visited the Sunderbani Sector near the Line of Control, following the successful culmination of Operation Jwala, which effectively foiled an infiltration bid and led to the recovery of a significant cache of war-like stores.
During his visit, the Army Commander reviewed the operational preparedness and appreciated the alertness and coordinated response of the troops deployed in the sector. He was briefed by formation commanders on the sequence of events and the measures undertaken to counter the infiltration attempt.
Lt Gen Sharma commended the troops for their swift, precise, and professional action, highlighting their unwavering commitment and steadfast resolve in maintaining peace and stability in the region.
