MSJK protests, demands ban on liquor sale

JAMMU, Feb 20: Mission Statehood Jammu Kashmir (MSJK) activists here today staged a protest demonstration under the leadership of their president, Sunil Dimple demanding a ban on the sale of liquor in J&K.
Addressing the protestors, Dimple said that the government should pass a bill in the ongoing session of the Assembly for stringent punishment to drug peddlers.
He demanded complete ban of liquor sale in Jammu, Katra and near religious places.
The MSJK leader claimed that Jammu has become a hub of liquor shops and threatened mass agitation if demand for the ban of liquor sale is not conceded soon.
Mohinder Kumar, Dev Raj, Vipan, Mukesh, Rakesh Sharma, Kala Kumar, Satwant Singh, Ram Kumar Das, Akbar Khan, Shafi Khan, Nazier Ahmad, Nasir and many others were also present in the protest.
