POONCH, Feb 1: Two persons were killed while two others injured when a car fell into a deep gorge in Jandrolla area of tehsil Mandi in Poonch district today.
Official sources said that a Tata Naxon car, bearing registration number JK02CK-7380 went out of control and rolled down into a deep gorge in Jandrolla area today. Four people were onboard the ill-fated car. They all were rescued by the locals of the area and police and then shifted to Mandi hospital and then to DH Poonch.

Two of them were declared as dead in the hospital. The deceased were identified as Kulbir Singh, son of Shiv Ram, resident of Poonch and Chitinder Singh, son of Sukhdev Singh, resident of Kamsar.

Medical Superintendent DH Poonch, Dr Shafiq said that both were brought dead while the condition of two others was stable. Meanwhile, Mandi police has taken cognizance of the matter.
