Pak intruder shot dead in Samba sector

JAMMU, Jan 25 : A Pakistani intruder was shot dead by the Border Security Force (BSF) troops along the International Border in Samba district of Jammu tonight.
The Pakistani national was attempting to sneak into this side through the Border Out Post Check Majra area of Ramgarh sector when his movement was picked up by the alert border guards, the officials said.
They said the intruder was fired upon after he ignored the warnings and tried to sneak into this side under the cover of darkness.
The body of the deceased is lying close to the IB, the officials said, adding the area will be searched with the first light of day on Monday and further details will be shared accordingly.
Meanwhile, police have detained one Ziafet Hussain of Mananu, Samba from village Daboh as three Pakistani contact numbers were found saved in his noble soul.
He is being questioned.
