AKHNOOR, Jan 20: The Shri Ram Katha, organized by senior leader and social activist Narendra Singh Bhau was concluded here today.
Hundreds of devotees immersed themselves in the nectar-like story of Lord Shri Ram, the most virtuous man of all, narrated by narrator Suraj Shastri Ji Maharaj.
Speaking on the occasion, Narendra Singh Bhau said, “Previous governments did not take any steps to build the Ram Temple, forcing the Lord to live in a tent for years. However, the Modi Government fulfilled its promise and built a grand Ram Temple in Ayodhya, where millions of devotees from India and abroad now visit for darshan.”
Bhau explained that since the construction of the Ram Temple, he has been organizing the Shri Ram Katha every year, followed by a grand procession of Lord Ram the following day.
He clarified that the main objective of the Shri Ram Katha is to propagate Sanatan Dharma in the region and strengthen Hinduism.
“This event not only provides spiritual energy, but also promotes social unity. In rural areas like Khod, such initiatives are playing a vital role in connecting youth with the mainstream,” he said.
A large number of men, women and children attended the event.
Bhandara was also served among the devotees.
