JAMMU, Jan 11: Congress party today expressed serious concern over the long power cuts, during the chilling winter and urged the Government to immediately take a call over the issue.
In a statement issued, JKPCC Chief Spokesperson Ravinder Sharma taken strong exception to power the situation during past few days as a result the people especially aged, ailing and children are facing great hardships.
He said, “There is hue and cry amongst people in entire Jammu region for the past few days and great resentment amongst people over the issue. The hospitals in rural areas are also worst affected due to this power crisis.”
The party leader further urged the Government to take an immediate call on the power situation and improve the same for relief to the people.
