JAMMU, Dec 31: An annual award function was organised at the Security Headquarters J&K in Jammu, which was presided over by Inspector General of Police, Security J&K, Sujit Kumar.
Senior officers including SSP Security Jammu, Commandants of Jammu-based Security Battalions, Commandant JKAP 3rd/12th Battalion, SSP Civil Secretariat J&K, SSP PTWS J&K and other Gazetted Officers attended the event, while SSP Security Kashmir, Commandant JKAP 11th Battalion and other officers joined through virtual mode.
During the function, the IGP reviewed the performance of the Security Wing during 2025, highlighting operational achievements and milestones, and appreciated the dedication and professionalism shown by officers and personnel under challenging conditions.
On the occasion, best performers of the year were felicitated with mementos and commendation certificates for their exemplary service and contribution to strengthening the security setup.
The function concluded with the IGP urging all ranks to continue working with the same commitment, integrity and professionalism in the coming year.
