JAMMU, Dec 27: All India Kashmiri Samaj (AIKS) has written to Cabinet Minister for Fisheries & Animal Husbandry, Rajiv Ranjan Singh to depute experts to find a solution to inauspicious dying of large number of holy fishes in springs of Mattan Martand in Anantnag Kashmir.
The recent unprecedented dying of fishes has worried Kashmiris (all religions alike) all over the world. Though District administration has started some action on ground but experts are needed to work in tandem with local experts to find an everlasting solution so that such an incident doesn’t recur in future. “We have written to MoS PMO, LG and Chief Secretary also for their intervention, ” said Ravinder Pandita in a press release in New Delhi today.
AIKS demands an impartial probe into the matter to ascertain the causes leading to this calamity.
