JAMMU, Dec 23: In a meeting of Old Janipur Civil Society Action Committee, here today, the members of Mohalla Indira Vihar demanded creation of new park while others demanded bathrooms for ladies and gents at High Court Road.
The meeting was chaired by Kulwant Singh Sambyal where the members also demanded security measures in the park at Mohalla Ram Vihar at the site of hoisting of National Flag.
Demand was also raised regarding installation of flood lights, CCTV cameras connected to Police Station to enable real time monitoring, blacktopping of lanes in the area, repair of non-functional street lights, repair and renovation of community hall, sanitation and repair of water coolers at Mohalla Ram Vihar, Shant Nagar, Pandoka Colony, Indira Vihar, Hari Nagar, Indira Colony, Kabir Nagar and adjoining areas of JDA and JMC parks in old Janipur.
The meeting was attended by Kuldeep Singh, Anil Gupta, Naveen Kumar, Nand Kishore, Buti Ram, Sonu Kohli, Harnam Singh, Ravi Sharma, Rakesh Singh, R.S Jamwal, Anil Bhasin, Vicky, Sandesh Sharma, R.K Gupta, Charan Dass, Lovely, Tara Chand, Ashwani Sharma, Sheel Abrol, Nittu, Rinku Sharma and others.
