JK Dentcon 2025 brings global dental expertise to Jammu

JAMMU, Dec 20: Jammu witnessed a major academic and professional congregation as leading dental professionals, researchers, educators and industry representatives came together for JK Dentcon 2025, a premier dental conference that commenced, here today.
The two-day event provides a comprehensive platform for knowledge exchange, innovation and collaboration in the field of dentistry. On day one, the conference featured a robust academic programme comprising keynote lectures, scientific sessions, panel discussions and hands-on workshops.
These sessions were conducted by nationally and internationally renowned experts, offering participants insights into the latest advancements, best practices and emerging trends in dental science and clinical care. Students, practitioners and academicians actively participated, making the deliberations highly engaging and interactive.
Chief Guest on the occasion was Vikram Singh Randhawa (MLA Bahu Constituency) while guest of honour was Atul Modi (Managing Director of Prevest Denpro Limited). A major highlight was the expansive exhibition hall, where leading dental manufacturers showcased state-of-the-art equipment, materials and technologies, enabling delegates to directly interact with industry innovations shaping modern dentistry.
Beyond academics, the conference marked a significant milestone with the inauguration of Jammu’s first Oral Cancer Foundation, underscoring the growing focus on prevention, early detection and public awareness. The occasion also saw the launch of the website “HOPE V CARE – From Awareness to Action,” aimed at strengthening outreach and advocacy related to oral health and cancer awareness.
