JAMMU, Dec 10: The Crime Branch (SCW) has registered a First Information Report (FIR) and constituted a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to prove malpractices adopted by some candidates in connivance with few Centre Incharges and invigilators in the exam of Stenography, Steno-Typist etc for recruitment in the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.

The FIR No. 20/2025 has been registered under Sections 3, 4, 10 of Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act 2024 and Sections 49, 318, 336, 338 BNS at Police Station SCW, Crime Branch Jammu.
The SIT constituted by IGP Crime Branch comprised Inspectors Nissar Ahmad and Deepak Thakur, Sub Inspector Ghulam Din, ASI Mohd Aslam, SGCT Manzoor Hussain and L/SGCT Jyoti Kumar.
