AJKTWA declares support to Sangharsh Samiti for movement

JAMMU, Dec 10: All J&K Transport Welfare Association (AJKTWA) today invited the Sangharsh Samiti to its Central body office to hold an in-depth discussion on the issues recently raised regarding the functioning of the Shri Mata Vaishnodevi Shrine Board and its newly raised Medical College and the public movement initiated by the Sangharsh Samiti.
The meeting was attended by Colonel (Retd.) Sukhvir Mankotia, Convener of the Sangharsh Samiti, and Parshotam Dadeechi, along with senior members of the Association. A detailed deliberation was held on the concerns highlighted by the Samiti and the ongoing movement aimed at addressing alleged irregularities and maladministration by the Shrine Board.
During the meeting, Karan Singh Wazir, Chairman of the All J&K Transport Welfare Association, assured the Association’s full support to the movement led by the Sangharsh Samiti. He emphasized the collective responsibility to raise voices against any wrongdoing and to safeguard the interests of the public.
In a reciprocal gesture, the Sangharsh Samiti extended its support to the All J&K Transport Welfare Association’s call for a `Chakka-Jam’ on December15, 2025, announced in protest against the Government’s ongoing non-seriousness toward the long-pending demands and critical issues faced by transporters across Jammu & Kashmir.
Both the organizations reaffirmed their commitment to peaceful and democratic means of protest while urging the Government to take immediate action to resolve the concerns of all stakeholders.
