Srinagar, Dec 5: Flight operations at Srinagar International Airport were affected on Friday after multiple IndiGo flights were cancelled due to operational disruptions, officials said.
An official said that IndiGo had a total of 18 scheduled flights for the day, of which 10 were cancelled, while several others faced delays. “We are receiving continuous queries regarding IndiGo’s operations. As of now, 10 flights stand cancelled,” the official said.
According to preliminary inputs, the cancellations are linked to IndiGo’s ongoing adjustments in line with new DGCA safety directives. Additionally, crew availability constraints have contributed to delays and cancellations across several airports in the country this week.
