JAMMU, Nov 24: The Indian Society of Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry (ISPPD) has conferred its prestigious ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ on Dr Rakesh Krishan Gupta during the Pedodham 2025 National Conference held in Bhubaneswar.
The honour recognizes Dr Gupta’s outstanding four-decade-long contribution to pediatric and preventive dentistry, and his transformative impact on dental education and institutional development in India.
Dr Gupta, currently serves as Principal & Director (Postgraduate Studies) at Kalka Dental College Meerut. Earlier, he served as Principal & Dean of Indira Gandhi Government Dental College, Jammu. He shaped dental education in the region as the first Dean, Faculty of Dental Sciences, University of Jammu.
He is member of the Dental Council of India since 2017. The award stands as a national acknowledgment of his enduring service and visionary leadership.
