JAMMU, Nov 23: Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees Federation (JKMEF) convened a meeting at the federation office, DHS Complex Jammu, chaired by president Jaswinder Singh, to deliberate on the long-pending salaries under the 2211 head, which remain unpaid for four months.
During the meeting, president Jaswinder Singh voiced strong concern over the Government’s delay in resolving employee issues. He urged the authorities, including Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and Health Minister Sakeena Itoo, to immediately release the salaries of the 2211 employees without further postponement. He cautioned that failure to address the matter within a week could compel the federation to initiate protests.
Those present included Dheeraj Sharma district president, Bahadur Singh working president, Neelam Kumari province president FMPHW, Anita Bhagat senior vice president FMPHW, Sapna president FMPHW, Rahul Gupta general secretary FMPHW, Kamla Devi FMPHW president district Samba, Rani Dewan FMPHW and Kamlesh Devi FMPHW.
