Randhawa kick starts construction of modern class room at Govt High School Chatta

JAMMU, Nov 17: MLA Bahu, Ch. Vikram Randhawa, today kick started the construction of a modern classroom equipped with CCTV cameras at Government High School, Chatta, marking an important step toward improving the educational infrastructure of the area. The initiative aims to provide students with a safer, more advanced, and academically supportive environment.
The event was attended by Mandal president, Surjeet Singh, officials from the RDD Department led by BDO Sachin Abrol, along with teachers, staff, and students. Their presence highlighted strong community support for this long-awaited development.
During his previous visit, the school administration had raised the demand for a modern classroom to address congestion and the lack of upgraded teaching facilities. Taking note of the genuine need, MLA Randhawa assured immediate action. Today’s commencement of construction fulfills that commitment and reflects his dedication to timely development.
Speaking at the occasion, MLA Randhawa said that education remains a top priority, and modern classrooms play a crucial role in shaping a better academic atmosphere. He further appreciated the RDD Department, especially BDO Sachin Abrol for their proactive approach, efficient planning, and commitment to quality work.
