Srinagar, Oct 16: Senior BJP leader and former minister Ajatshatru Singh today called on the Minister of State for Home Affairs, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, and welcomed him at Srinagar.
During the meeting, Ajatshatru Singh conveyed his appreciation for the Central Government’s continued focus on strengthening peace, security, and development initiatives in the Union Territory.
Ajatshatru commended the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah for their unwavering commitment to ensuring stability and prosperity in Jammu and Kashmir. He also expressed confidence that the visit of MoS Home Bandi Sanjay Kumar would reinforce the Centre’s resolve to address local aspirations and sustain ongoing reforms.
During the interaction, both leaders discussed various developmental and political issues concerning J&K, including measures to further empower grassroots democracy, promote youth engagement, and accelerate socio-economic progress across the region.
The MoS Home appreciated the warm welcome extended by Ajatshatru Singh and acknowledged his continued contribution to public service and the strengthening of the BJP’s organizational base in the Union Territory.
