Suri emerges leading wicket-taker in series against NZ

JAMMU, Oct 9: Veteran cricketer Vivek Suri, representing North Zone, has emerged as the leading wicket-taker from the Indian side in the ongoing 50+ International Bilateral Series against the touring New Zealand Veterans. The matches are being held at the Jamia University Ground, New Delhi.
Suri showcased his experience and bowling prowess by claiming 5 crucial wickets across 3 matches, maintaining an impressive economy rate of 5.53. His disciplined spells played a key role in restricting the New Zealand batting lineup and delivering breakthroughs at vital junctures.
Serving as both Secretary and Captain of the Veterans Cricket Association J&K. Suri said, “It’s always an honour to represent North Zone. Playing against international teams is a great motivation and pushes me to keep improving.”
