JAMMU, Oct 6: All J&K +2 Lecturers Forum today held a virtual meet at UT level which was presided over by R S Salathia, Chairman and Mohd Younous Gurezi, Forum President for Kashmir Division.
The meet expressed serious concern over the undue delay in the regularisation of Incharge lecturers, release of transfer list of lecturers under ATD , ACP and posting of Principals.
The top leadership informed in the meeting that despite calling on Minister for School Education, Sakina Masood Itoo and Secretary SED, Ram Niwas Sharma on the most important issue of regularisation of incharge lecturers, nothing concrete has been done so far.
“Though Minister of School Education, Sakina Itoo, in a review meeting, had fixed a deadline of July 31,2025 for finalising DPC for regularisation but unfortunately her directions were not taken seriously and nothing has been done so far in this regard,” they said.
Attaching importance to the issue of regularisation, the forum decided that if regularisation was is not done immediately, it may go for pen-down strike throughout Jammu and Kashmir followed by protests.
