3 police officers deputed to Ladakh

JAMMU, Sept 16: The Lieutenant Governor administration has deputed three police officers to the Union Territory of Ladakh.
As per an order, among the officers, whose services are placed at the disposal of the UT of Ladakh are Deputy Superintendents of Police (DySPs) Faraz Hussain Shah, Adil Mushtaq Sheikh, and Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary’s brother, Inspector Vijay Singh Choudhary.

The order said the deputation of the officers will be for a period of two years or until they are recalled.
The lien and promotion prospects of the officers will remain with the Home Department of the UT, the order said.
Further, it has been ordered that the officers will be entitled to any incentives the UT of Ladakh may provide, and are deemed relieved with immediate effect to report for duties in Ladakh.
