UDHAMPUR, Sept 13: Three houses were completely gutted in a major fire incident at Panchayat Katti near Lander in Pancheri Tehsil.
Even though there was no loss of life, the houses were completely gutted in the fire that broke out last night.
Reports said the houses of Kartar Chand, son of Khakri; Jagdev Singh, son of Rattan Singh, and Karan Singh- all residents of Katti in Pancheri caught fire during last mid night. The locals informed the police Station Pancheri. The police party rushed to the spot and with the help of locals villagers fire was controlled within four hours. However, fire could be completely doused during morning, sources said.
The real cause of fire could not be ascertained, however, the property was completely lost in the incident. Pancheri police have taken cognizance of the matter.
