KCPS shines at Mayo Girls’ Young Thinkers’ Conclave 2025

JAMMU, Aug 29: A 10-member delegation from KC Public School, Jammu, accompanied by teacher escorts Deepali Ghai and Vijaylaxmi Slathia, brought laurels to the school at the Silver Jubilee Young Thinkers’ Conclave 2025, hosted by Mayo College Girls’ School, Ajmer.
Competing against top schools like Sherwood College (Nainital), The Scindia School (Gwalior), Genesis Global School (Noida) and others, KCPS students showcased exceptional skills in debate, quiz, creative writing, theatre and poetry.
Vandita Raina and Nirnay Raina secured first place in the quiz. In Hindi Debate, Pranshi Kohli, Kalash Bhat and Swarnim Sharma bagged third position, with Kalash Bhat and Swarnim Sharma winning best speaker awards. Anadi Saini and Vandita Raina earned special praise in English Debate.
The conclave also included enriching interactions, including one with Pranab Mukherjee and vibrant cultural evenings. Despite travel disruptions due to floods, the team displayed resilience. The school management and Principal AK Mishra congratulated the team on their success.
